Timing of marriage is an issue that each man & woman wants to ask an astrologer. When will they get married? If you would like to understand how exactly an astrologer determines the timing of marriage, then let me teach you ways. If you are doing not know anything about astrology then I suggest you get my Astrology Book here first, before reading this text, because I’m getting to be using terminology which will be a touch too vain for you immediately. I will be talking about houses, degrees, ascendant and ‘Dasha’ system; all of which is explained beautifully in my book, within the most simplistic terms.

In astrology, depending upon the time you were born, your wheel of karma is going to be set, which is seen by your rising sign aka ascendant. Whatever your ascendant sign is, it’ll show which zodiac sign & planet is controlling which sector of your life. In astrology, there are 12 zodiac signs and 12 houses, with each house signifying a particular sector of your life, like money, wealth, health, marriage, children, education etc…

Today we are getting to pick the world of marriage, which is seen from then 2nd, 7th and 11th house of an individual’s horoscope. 2nd house represents your family life, 7th house shows your marriage prospects and 11th house shows your hopes & wishes. If your wish is to urge married immediately, then 11th house will show if your hopes-&-wishes will come true in your life. Now, depending upon your ascendant/your first house/your rising sign, we’ll be ready to see which sign is ruing these three houses.

i.e.

If you’re a cancer ascendant or cancer rising sign during the time you were born, then your 2nd house is going to be ruled by Sun (LEO), 7th house is going to be ruled by Saturn (Capricorn) and 11th house are going to be ruled by Venus (Taurus), judging from these three planets and therefore the condition of them in your horoscope one can see if you’ll or won’t marry, then, to ascertain the timing of your marriage an astrologer will see when these three planets are getting to transit into these three houses in your life.

Remember, Planets in your horoscope are always moving, so when Sun, Saturn and Venus inherit any of those houses (2nd, 7th, 11th) in any order, they’re going to trigger the wedding aspect of your life, so if Saturn is in Leo, and Sun is in Taurus, and Venus is in Capricorn transiting together for could also be 30 days once you turn 26, then these 30 days when these three planets are aligned your marriage are often predicted.

Another important aspect to gauge your or someone else’s marriage is by watching their ‘Dasha’ or period of a planet. In all of our lives, we are being ruled by a particular planet surely period of your time. you would possibly be ruled by Moon immediately for 10 years, then Mars for 7 years, then Rahu for 18 years, so if you are going through your Mars ‘Dasha’, and Mars rules your 7th house in your horoscope as in your 7th home is Aries or Scorpio, this may provide a major clue if you’ll marry during this period or not, but as long as you are watching this era after the age of 18.

Also, it’s important to seem at the significator of marriage which is planet Venus and Jupiter. When Jupiter and Venus are transiting through your 7th house or aspecting your 7th house from a particular house, then, that, too, triggers prospect of marriage, since Venus and Jupiter are positive planets representing growth and love, and when 7th home is being looked by Jupiter the earth of expansion and growth, then that house are going to magnify sort of a balloon and you’ll see how marriage becomes a crucial aspect in your life.

जन्म कुंडली आकाश का एक नक्शा । जिस समय किसी बालक का जन्म होता है, उस समय आकाश पर जो ग्रह जहां जहां, जिस स्तिथि में होते हैं, उन्हें हम यहाँ बैठे बैठे एक कागज पर लिख कर नक्शा तैयार कर लेते है, उसे ही जन्म कुंडली कहा जाता है।

जन्म कुंडली के बारह खाने होते हैं, जैसा कि सामने प्रदर्शित किया गया है। जहां प्रथम लिखा हुआ है वह कुंडली का प्रथम भाव है ऐसे ही जहाँ द्वितीय लिखा हुआ है वो दूसरा भाव है। कुंडली में भाव एक ही जगह फिक्स होते है , लेकिन राशि अलग अलग हो सकती है।

प्रथम भाव को ही लग्न कहते है। जब जन्म कुंडली अर्थात आकाश का नक्शा बनाना, तो उसे इसी प्रथम भाव से शुरू किया जाता है। लग्न पूर्वीय (East direction) दिशा है, जहाँ सूर्योदय होता है। सप्तम भाव पशिम (west direction) दिशा है, जहाँ सूर्य अस्त होता है। दशम भाव हमारे ऊपर, हमारे सिर पर जो आकाश का भाग है, वह है। चतुर्थ भाव हमारे बिलकुल नीचे, पृथ्वी के नीचे जो आकाश का भाग है, वह है।
प्रत्येक कुंडली में इसी क्रमानुसार बारह भाव होते हैं। भावो की कुल संख्या बारह है और रशिया भी बारह ही है। कुंडली में भाव संख्या लिखी नहीं जाती, केवल याद रखी जाती है।
जब जन्म कुंडली बनाई जाती है तो उसका आरम्भ प्रथम भाव लग्न से ही होता है और भावो का क्रम प्रत्येक कुंडली में ऊपर बताये अनुसार ही होता है। परंतु, कुंडली में अंक राशि के अनुसार ही भरे जाते है। मान लीजिए किसी का जन्म मेष लग्न में हुआ, तो मेष प्रथम राशि होने से प्रथम भाव में एक का अंक लिखा और उसके आगे क्रमानुसार दूसरे भाव में दो, चौथे भाव में चार लिखा जायेगा ऐसे हम बारह तक करेंगे। इस प्रकार कुंडली पूरी तरह से बन जायेगी।

यदि जन्म कर्क लग्न का हो, तो कर्क चौथी राशि होने से प्रथम भाव में चार का अंक लिखा जायेगा और क्रमानुसार दूसरे भाव में पांच, चौथे भाव में सात, बारह भाव में तीन का अंक लिखा जायेगा।
इसी तरह से कोई भी कुंडली बनानी हो तो जन्म के समय जो लग्न हो, उस लग्न की राशि का अंक प्रथम भाव में लिख कर एक एक अंक क्रम से आगे बढ़ाते हुए सभी बारह भावों की पूर्ति की जाती है।

3. [1] Vedic period (23,927 BC – 8350 BC)

Vedas are anadi without a discernible beginning. They contain all knowledge, Astrology being a vedang — a part of vedas, developed with them. It took thousand of years of empirical observation and studies before the rishis & sages formulated various shlokas, Richard or tika and sooktas.

We have been, as a part of heritage handed over records of astrological shlokas of this period. They are :-

(a) Rig Veda

(b) Yajurved Veda

(c) Acharya Veda

[2] The Purani Period (8350 – 3000 BC)

This is the period where 18 pravartakas, the sages who further improved the astrological knowledge and spread it far and wide make their appearance. their contribution are all prevading, they wrote सिद्धांत, होरा, संहिता.

This is also the period of our eternal epics ramayana and mahabharata. Dr Vartak has fixed the birth of rama in the year 7323 BC.

[3] The Parashari Period (3000 BC – 57 AD)

Parashar has been considered as the foremost astrologer for the kali yuga. Kali yuga commences in 3102 BC. Parashara’s Monumental work “Brihat Parashara’s Hora Shastra” is the backbone of vedic Astrology and forms the basis of all teaching imparted by us. The other notable astrologers of this period were — jaimini, Harga, satya charya.

[4] The Varahamihir Period (57 BC – 1900 AD)

This era is dominatng by varahamihir. He was the court astrologer of vikramaditya who came to power in 57 BC. Vikrami samay commences from this date. Varahamihir’s Brihat Jataka is the second reference book forming the basis of teaching. He also authored definitive works. Brihat Sangita. Panch Siddhant of pitamah, surya, vashishtha, lomash and romak; Daivagya-Ballabha is on horary Astrology.

Astronomy is the scientific study of sun, moon and stars. Astrology is a pseudo-science interpreting the supposed effect of the heavenly bodies on human existence. In early history the two are closely linked. The sky is the home of many of the gods, who influence life on earth. And the patterns in the sky must surely reflect that influence

The sky is the most mysterious part of our everyday experience. Familiarity may make the amazing events going on at ground level seem almost ordinary. Plants and animals grow and die, rain falls, rivers flow. We feel we understand that. 

Astrology is a precese, intellectual science. its history should, therefore, be capable of very accurate and reliable chronological recording. it is not so. the reasons are:

1. Shruti & and Smriti : Paper and printing are recent innovation. In the past all knowledge was stored in memory. The knowledge memorises phenomenal details. All the knowledge was passed on by the word of mouth is called shruti. this led to inaccuracies and aberations in the various accounts.
2. Immorals Astrologers : The astrologers in the past one hundred years or so have neither honesty not integrety in their astrological writings . dedicated hard work and research parashar’s they creating doubts about the prediction

The datings techniques :

1. Precession of equinoxes : due to wobble of the earth’s axis the equinoctical points recedes by approx 50.3″ every year. the position of a equinotical point in a constellation discloses the chronological period. the equinoctial points precesses bt 1 degree in 72 years, one constellation in 960 years and one sign in 2160 years (aproxx.). India is an anriculture country. According to the research of dr padmakar vishnu vartak of pune the rains during the rig vedic period used to commence when the sun was in mrigashira. this indicates the period as from now when rains again commences when the sun mrigshira. Rigvedic period therefore can be fixed at 25,920 – 2000 = 23920 years BC.
2. Astrplogical records : Astrologycally, if we know the planetry position of an event, say Rama’s birth or Mahabharata war, there period can be fixed. According to Dr. Vartak research, Rama’s horoscope indicated the period of his birth as 7323 BC and the planetary positions at mahabharata where, Saturn are in Purva Phalguni, jupiter in shravan nakshatra, rahu in uttrashada, and mars in anuradha gives us a dete of october 16, 5561 years BC. this is an acceptably accurate method.

1. Vaar :- In indian Astrology, the day is from one sunrise to the next sunrise, so, a vaar is also from one sunrise. So, a vaar is also from one sunrise to the next. Also name of the first hora of the day is the name of vaar.

2. Tithi :- Astronomically, When the longitudes of the sun and the moon are same, it is the ending time of amavasya. A lunar month is the time period from one amavsya to the next amavasya or purnima to purnima. It is of 29.53 days. In this period moon covers 360° more than the sun & there is 30 tithis in this period.

360°/30° =12° (one tithi is 12°)

Tithi= (longitude of moon – longitude of the sun)/12

* The quotient gives the no. of tithi passes.

3. Karana :- Karana is related to the tithi. Each tithi has 2 karanas, As already stated a tithi is the duration of time in which the moon moves 12° ahead of the sun. The same way a karana is time interval in which the moon moves 6° ahead of the sun.

= (Longitude of the moon – longitude of the sun)/6

4. Yoga :- There are 27 yoga these division like 27 nakshatra.

Yoga = (longitude of moon + longitude of sun)/800

5. Nakshatra :- Suppose moon in leo with 5°00’30” , we changed the sign,degree in minutes. & We know every nakshatra are 13°20′ then we change the degree in minutes. Then we ascertain 800 minutes.

Calculation to find nakshatra.

(4×30+5)×60

=125×60

=7500

Now we divided with 800.

=7500/800

= 9.375

It means 9 nakshatra pass and this moon in Magha nakshatra.

1. The Solar System : Our solar system is centered around the sun. Nine planets viz. Mercury, Venus, earth, mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto alind with a belt of astroids revolve in elliptical orbits around the sun. In vedic Astrology, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto find no place. On the other hand, the classics recognize the moon and the two shadowy points known as rahu and Ketu, which are the moon’s nodes as equivalent to planets. They are not physical bodies but are mathematically calculated sensitive points of intersection of the orbits of the moon and the sun. The planets Mercury and Venus orbit in the space between the sun and the earth and are known as inner planets and inferior planets. Mars, jupiter and Saturn, whose orbits are on the outer side of the earth, are known as outer planets or superior planets. Rahu and ketu always move in the reverse direction.
2. Zodiac:- The sun’s annual path is known as ecliptic. The belt of heavens extending 8 degrees on either side of the ecliptic is known as the Zodiac. In this belt the moon and the planets appear to move. The Zodiac is divided into 12 equal parts of 30 degree each which are called the sign or the rashi of the Zodiac. These have been named as Aries, Taurus, Gemini, cancer, leo, Virgo, Libra, scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius, and Pisces. Each sign is rules by a planet. Different sign have different characteristics, which play an important role to prediction.
3. Nakshatra:- The entire zodiac has been divided into 27 equal parts of 14 degrees and 20 min each known as nakshatra. Every nakshatra had been assigned a planetary ruler.
4. The houses:- There are 12 houses. The sign where lagna point falls is known as the first house or lagna. The next sign is second house, next the third and so on. In vedic Astrology system the sign and the house are deemed synonymous. However, in western Astrology they use cusp of the house.
5. Time:- All are aware of the time measure known as local mean tim, standard time fir Any country or zone and the GMT. There is another system measure of time known as sidereal day in 23 hr 56 min.
